MediaE2E to launch Indian language EPG services

MediaE2E in December′2007 has announced Indian language EPG services to add to its English language service. The Indian languages identified for launch include Hindi and Tamil among other prominent ones.

MediaE2E runs a multi-platform, multi-device TV Guide that already serves several million consumers. "Indian Language capabilities are being developed and rolled out by us on ZipAZap, our online and mobile TV Guide service. These will be reflected soon once our testing is through. However, having Indian language features on Set-Top-Boxes would also depend on the capabilities of the boxes involved", a MediaE2E spokesperson mentioned. MediaE2E is testing several IPTV, CAS and DTH systems for Indian language capabilities.
