Airtel DTH awards EPG contract to MediaE2E

MediaE2E announced that Bharti Airtel had awarded an Electronic Program Guide (EPG) Management contract for its upcoming DTH venture. MediaE2E successfully runs a multi-platform National EPG service in India. By end-2007, the service was reporting programming details and schedules for 300 Indian TV stations. The high quality EPG is integrated between Broadcasters and Platforms with MediaE2E providing mission critical enrichment for the schedules information. "Our mission is to provide a high quality output to Set-Top-Boxes and other TV devices in real-time", said a MediaE2E company spokesperson. MediaE2E is expected to roll-out Indian language EPG feeds and DVR-ready schedule formats in partnership with Indian Platform companies.
