Reliance-ADAG awards multi-platform EPG contract to MediaE2E.

MediaE2E announced today that it had signed a Multi-Platform Electronic Program Guide (EPG) Management contract with Reliance-ADAG. The contract would cover multiple new TV Distribution Platforms launched by R-ADAG including its upcoming DTH and IPTV ventures. With this latest win, MediaE2E continues its success run with EPG management to all major Indian TV Platforms and Operators.

Launched in 2005, MediaE2E entered the EPG space in end-2006 after extensive developments of an indigenous EPG Production Platform built specifically to address the Indian sub-continent. At this point, MediaE2E successfully runs a multi-platform National EPG service in India that extends into DTH, Cable, IPTV, Mobile and Online. By end-2007, the service was reporting programming details and schedules for 300 Indian TV stations. The high quality EPG is integrated between Broadcasters and Platforms with MediaE2E providing mission critical enrichment for the schedules information. "Our mission is to provide a high quality output to Set-Top-Boxes and other TV devices in real-time", said a MediaE2E company spokesperson.
